About 2 months ago I traveled to to Vienna, Austria. It was so much fun getting away from Zagreb for a few days and spending some time with the girls! During my 2 years of being a flight attendant I'v never actually traveled to Vienna, so I was curious to check it out and see what all the fuss was about.

Vienna lived up to the praise Iv heard about and did not disappoint! This Imperial city is stuffed with museums, exhibitions and palaces, along with an old-school charm that reminded me of times past. There always seems to be something happening in Vienna, it's definately not a dull place! Its a beautiful city to simply take leisurely strolls and soak up the culture, admire the grand architecture, and indulge in the great food, coffee and Viennese cakes (I obviously over-indulged on the Viennese cakes!).

Insta-Diary: My Absolute Favourite Cities!

1. Jemaa el Fna, Marrakech, Morocco-The sighs, sounds, smells and exoticism of Marrakech was simply intoxicating. A feast for the senses! One of the first cities I traveled to abroad and I absolutely loved it. 2. Topkai Palace, Istanbul, Turkey- I love everything about Turkey, especially Istabul, that perfectly fuses East and West cultures. I loved the energy of this city,  the friendly Turks and the amazing food! 3. Clifton Beach, Cape Town, South Africa- I'v travelled quite extensively over the years and I have not come across a city quite like Cape Town. Its truly one of a kind, I guess there is truly no place like home. 4. Park Guell, Barcelona, Spain- I had so much fun in Barcelona! So much to do and see, its impossible to get bored in this city. 5. Times Square, NYC, U.S.A- New York for me has an addictive energy that you just cant get enough of. Apart from the many sights to check out, I loved the nigtlife, the variety of great restaurants and of course the shopping.

6. Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy- Im obsessed with Italy! Iv travelled to almost every city from the North to the South of this country and I'v loved them all. Every city in Italy has something different to offer, Rome however, is my all time favourite. There's so much culture, beauty and history  in this city, its impossible not to fall in love with his beguiling city. 7. London, England- Il always love London, from the incredible shopping (especially during the sale season), variety of food from street to gourmet, nightlife that never seems to sleep, summer festivals,...this list is endless, so you'l just have to check out this city for yourself!
 8. Universal Studios, Singapore- Singapore is an incredibly cosmopolitan city. There is so much to see and do and the nightlife and restaurant scene is great! 9. Stockholm, Sweden- Cool kids, artsy, design orientated, ridiculously stylish beautiful people, in a nutshell it was obvious I'd love this city from the start! Stockholm city is also fairly small so its so easy to navigate around the city, perfect for me with my terrible direction and road sense!

10. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam- My trip to Vietnam was truly memorable. The history, culture and humble qualities of the native people were amazing. The buzzing night market was also a feast for the eyes and you can pick up so many beautiful handmade items here at a great bargain! There were also many  weird and wonderful fruits, live strange fish and shellfish being displayed on the dinner menu.11. Pyramids of Giza, Cairo, Egypt- This was my first solo trip abroad. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first but I ended up loving this experience so much. There's actually something calming about doing exactly what you want to do on vacation and not compromise on anything or depend on anyone else to decide! 12. Paris, France- Iv been to Paris countless times but have rarely really had the time or energy to explore the city. On the occasional trips there, where I did explore, I wished I did it more often. Its a beautiful city, with so much history and culture. The Eiffel tower really is an architectural marvel, the size alone is awe inspiring! Id love to come back here again with my husband one day.

I took so many beautiful photographs of my recent trip abroad that I found it quite hard to choose the best pictures that sum up my trip. It was an impossible task which brings me to the conclusion that Il have do a travel diary of this particular trip as I loved it so much! I didn't do any blogging during my 3 week hiatus abroad as I think that defeats the purpose of actually truly immersing yourself in your travels. I visited a good friend of mine in Abu Dhabi who used to be my roommate while I was a flight attendant a few years ago. We also had some fun in Dubai for 2 days, which I loved. We did what we do best: ate, shopped, danced till 5 in the morning (I couldn't keep with Bianca!), laughed until our tummies hurt and of course had to squeeze in the inevitable girly spa day! It felt good to be back in the Middle East after 1 year of being away!

Next stop was Cape Town, South Africa. I haven't visited home in about 18 months so naturally I was incredibly homesick. When you live abroad, you truly appreciate how much you miss home, your family and true friends that you've left behind. For 2 incredible weeks I soaked it all up and in a flash It seemed I was back on the plane with a heavy heart homebound to snowy Zagreb. But all good things must come to an end I suppose, that's life! I do have some very exciting things happening in my life at the moment but will keep you all posted in the next few months! Happy travels everyone:)
